Team Scotland Training

Training has continued pretty steadily since that first challenge, and we’ve managed to cover quite a bit of Scotland over the weeks, including:
  • North Berwick coastal route (50miles) – a nice easy ride out from Edinburgh to North Berwick on a sunny Sunday afternoon, with a relaxing lunch outside…then was the blustery return! We made it back significantly slower than the way out with a few choruses of cursing at the wind from Rob!

  • Isle of Arran hill cycle challenge (40miles) featuring the now infamous “Hill of Death”. No photographs exist of such challenge, but be assured…it was epic!

  • Pentland Hills circular (25miles) which began with a hill so steep that Caroline was convinced she might tip backwards off her bike – a tough one! This one has been a bit of a favourite with a couple of the team members
